After Nairobi 2021, Boston 2022 and Dubai & Abu Dhabi 2023, this year's flight takes place from Nairobi to Munich. As the date of flight we have choosen October 13th, 2024. According to the plan, the first takeoff should take place around 11:00am.
The CHC Charity flight is an event, which is executed by Muenchen Airways
in cooperation with Cargo Human Care e.V. (CHC). In this event many of our
and many other virtual pilots fly togheter and collect donations for a good cause.
This event exists since 2021.
This event is organized by Muenchen Airways. In the past, this has received support from other virtual airlines, such as RegioAir or the IVAA, but from this year on the event is once again being organized by the Munich Airways crew.

The CHC donation flight was launched in 2021 by a Munich Airways pilot Alexander Finauer, the then Munich Airways CEO Philipp Rupp together with the CHC founder Fokko Doyen. At that time, a few smaller airlines took part, which later merged to form the IVAA Group.
The IVAA Group further expanded the donation flight in 2022 and carried it out again with many supporters. A record-breaking sum of over €2900 was raised, which will provide the 200 children of the CHC Wings Academy with bananas for almost the entire year 2023.
